Quiet, suburban Sherman Oaks shares several similarities with the bordering town of Encino. The Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Park and Recreation Center encompasses a sprawling park with multiple paths, a pool, and athletic fields for soccer and baseball. Additional facility features include lighted, indoor basketball courts, volleyball courts, a soccer field, tennis courts, an indoor gym, and a football field.
